# Transaction Status

This guide assumes you have an [Ethereum Wallet and are familiar with Metamask](/dracula-protocol/faq/getting-started-w-defi.md#im-ready-to-invest-how-do-i-setup-a-wallet).   It also assumes you have already connected your Ethereum Wallet to Dracula Protocol using the [Connecting Metamask guide](/dracula-protocol/guides/dracula-protocol-v2/connect-to-metamask.md).

The status of a pending or completed transaction is viewable from MetaMask by selecting the **Activity** tab in the Metamask extension or app.

Confirming a transaction on the Ethereum network can take some time.  While waiting it is possible to view the pending transaction on Etherscan by selecting the transaction under **Activity** tab in MetaMask.

Select the arrow to open a new window with the transaction details on Etherscan.
